How to pay:

1st State Bank of India in Challan

Step 1: After two business days of online application, print a two-part Challan (1st copy, 2nd bank copy) and the completed application form and deposit amount with the pre-printed Challan in HPCL Powerjyoti A / C number 32315049001. at a branch office from SBI across the country

Step 2: Make sure that the bank provides the payment stamp and the booking number. on two parts of Challan. Collect the “copy of the candidate” in two parts from the bank and keep it for future reference.

Step 3: Check within 3-4 business days from the date of payment of the application and the processing fee if the payment status of the application is changed to “Received Payment”.

Step 4: If the payment status is not updated within 3-4 business days, send the scanned copy of the paid bulletin to hpclgate@mail.hpcl.co.in.

Step 1: Pay the application and processing fees online with a debit / credit card. The payment status is automatically changed to “Receive payment” immediately after receiving the fee.

Step 2: Check the payment status of the application: “Receive payment” is displayed

  1. Selected officers will be put on probation for one year.
  2. How to apply detailed.

  • For detailed information on GATE-2019, interested candidates can log onto www.gate.iitm.ac.in/ or on other IIT websites.
  • Candidates will receive their registration number GATE-2019 printed on their admission card. Upon receipt of the GATE registration number, applicants must register online at Hindustan Petroleum.   • The candidate must keep a scanned copy of the passport-size photo (same as that in GATE) (in jpg / gif format less than 50 KB) and his CV (in doc / docx format less than 200 KB) before complete the online application form.
  • Fill out the online form with all relevant details. Upload a scanned copy of your passport-size photo (same as the one in GATE) and take it back with the online application form.
  • Candidates should ensure that the relevant information such as name, date of birth, address, GATE 2019 registration number, etc. entered in the HPCL online application is the same as in the GATE 2019 application
  • Click Send. You receive a system-generated 12-digit application number. Please note that this application number is important and needed for all future references during the selection process.   1. Short list and placement
  • Candidates who appear in a GATE document different from their qualified engineering discipline will not be considered for the following selection process.
  • Only 2019 portal brands will be considered for this hiring process.
  • A candidate may compete only in one discipline. Candidates who apply for more than one discipline cannot sit in both roles.
  • On the basis of the current GATE 2019 marks, qualified candidates will be invited according to a predetermined ratio in the order of the categorical disciplinary merit list for further selection.
  • The selection process would include group exercises / discussions and / or personal interviews. In addition, at the sole discretion of management, other selection tools / tests may be conducted. Candidates must successfully qualify for each selection phase.
  • The winning list of successful candidates will be based on 85% for GATE 2019 and 15% for a group discussion / task and / or a face-to-face interview
  • The selected candidates are responsible for the transfer of all India. The reservation / assignment can be done in any SBU / department / department of the company anywhere in the country / otherwise.
  • These positions usually include shift work, including night work. The selected candidates may also be recruited from one of the subsidiaries / joint ventures or other Indian ministries.

Concessions and relaxation

  • The positions of SC, ST and OBC-NC are in accordance with the government guidelines.

The maximum age relaxation is 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBC-NC and 10 years for PWD (UR), 13 years for PWD (OBC-NC) and 15 years for PWD candidates (SC / ST) , depending on the case.

  1. The easing of the maximum age is 5 years for candidates domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989. A 5-year relaxation is applicable for veterans and officers (including ECOs / SSCOs) with a minimum of 5 years of service in the armed forces and other conditions prescribed by the government.   3. Apprentices hired by the Corporation under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 must appear and qualify for the GATE exam, and appropriate flexibility will be provided in accordance with the Company’s policy in this regard.
  4. Apprentices who have successfully completed the apprenticeship apprenticeship with the Corporation would benefit from a relaxation / preference in the recruitment standards. This relaxation would be granted in two stages, namely:

(i) as regards the relaxation of age while calculating the eligibility of a candidate (intern trainee) to the extent of the period during which the candidate concerned had completed an apprenticeship in any establishment of the Company, not exceeding one year and

(ii) Assigning an additional 5% of the mark, the apprentice enrols for the GATE exam and records such marks of grace as well as the marks obtained by candidates for the GATE exam for the purpose of screening candidates for the subsequent stage of selection. It is stated that the success of apprenticeship training within the company would not confer any right of recruitment / selection, except with regard to the aforementioned relaxation.
