The exam will be held on two days and in two time slots across Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Delhi, Kolkata Nagpur, Shillong, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Patna, Thiruvananthapuram, Anand, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mangalore, Pune, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai, Jammu, Mumbai and Ranchi in online mode for 100 marks each. Candidates are required to attempt objective type questions for a duration of 2 hour for admission to any one of these full time courses.

On March 9, 2019 from 10 am to 12 noon, exams for B.A. (Hons.) English M.A. English (Cafeteria) M.A. Arabic Language and Literature M.A. French Language and Literature, Post-graduate Diploma in the Teaching of Arabic (PGDTA), Ph.D. French Language and Literature, Ph.D. Indian and World Literatures, Ph.D. Translation Studies courses will be conducted.

Whereas in the second shift, i.e from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m, exam for M.A. Computational Linguistics, M.A. Literatures in English, M.A. Hindi and M.A. English Language Teaching, Ph.D. Education, Ph.D. Cultural Studies, Ph.D. Aesthetics and Philosophy, Ph.D. Spanish Language and Literature will be conducted.

On March 10, 2019 in the first shift, following course entrances will be conducted – B.A. (Hons.) Foreign Languages, M.A. English Literature, M.A. Hispanic Language and Literature, M.A. Russian Language and Literature, M.A. German Language and Literature, B.Ed. (English), Ph.D. Arabic Language and Literature, Ph.D. Comparative Literature, Ph.D. English Language Education and Ph.D. Film Studies and Visual Culture.

Whereas in the second shift, entrances for B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication, M.A. Linguistics, M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication, M.A. Comparative Literature, Post-graduate Diploma in the Teaching of English(PGDTE), Ph.D. Linguistics and Phonetics, Ph.D. Russian Language and Literature, Ph.D. English Literature, Ph.D. German Language and Literature courses.
