Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology formerly known as the Delhi Institution of Technology is an engineering college located in Dwarka, New Delhi. It is an autonomous institution of the Government of Delhi. It accepts admissions on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main. NSIT offers various UG/PG courses in the area of engineering. The admission process for B.Tech courses is conducted by Joint Admission Counseling (JAC), Delhi. Through this process, a candidate will get admission into NSIT, DTU, IGDTUW, and IIITD. Application Form

Candidates can fill application form from the 2nd week of June 2018 via online mode. Firstly, they should pay fee. Candidates should fill form carefully because no correction chance is provided . You need to upload the scanned images of photograph (size less than 100 KB), signature in JPG/JPEG format. You can submit the application form till last week of June 2018. Candidates have to fill the choices of branch according to their preferences. Take a printout of application form and the copy of the filled choice for further references.

Application Fee

Candidates can make payment by online mode, and they have to pay admission fee amounting 1200/-Rs.(including bank charges) through net banking/debit card/ credit card.  Candidate can also pay fee by e-challan in any branch of SBI.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants can check their eligibility criteria before filling application form. In brief, the eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

  • No age limit for UG courses
  • 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region candidates, who will pass the qualifying examination
  • 15% seats are reserved for outside Delhi region candidates also pass the qualifying examination
  • Completed 10+2 from any recognized board with PCM (physics, chemistry, mathematics) subjects
  • Candidate should have score at least 60% marks in the PCM subjects
  • For SC/ST/ANY Reserved category have relaxation in the qualifying marks

NSIT Counseling

The counselling will be conducted through online mode only by JAC, Delhi. Candidate will have to pay fee before counselling and have to register also. The selection committee & screening committee will select student who register online for admission and get ranked in JEE Main. The authority will conduct the counselling process in four rounds. At the time of selection procedure, candidates have to bring the original document along with the self attested photocopies. Documents needed for the counseling procedure are as following:

  • 10th& 12th Class Mark Sheet
  • 10th& 12th Passing Certificate
  • Seat allotment letter
  • JEE Main Score Card
  • DD/ Cheque of requisite admission fee
  • ID Proof (Aadhaar card/ Passport/ Driving license / PAN card/ Voter ID)
  • Printout of the application form duly signed
  • Three latest passport size photographs
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Print out of filled choice

 NSIT UG Admission Process

Candidates, who are eligible for the admission procedure of NSIT UG, have to complete the registration formalities. Candidates have to fill much number of choices of branch & colleges, according to their preferences. The list of branches & seat allotment will be displayed on the website. A candidate should lock the choice but carefully as after locking, he/she will not be able to change the previous choices. The authority will prepare the merit list on the basis of JEE Main Score. Merit list will be published by authority through online/offline. A different merit list will be prepared for reserved category. Take a printout of application form and copy of the filled choice for further references. A provisional admission letter will be allotted after the publication of Merit list. Candidates have to download the online provisional admission letter through the website. The allotment letter contains basic details such as seat allotment, fee payment, & many other details.
