MP PAT Exam Dates

Here, we are providing tentative dates for the MP PAT examination:

MP PAT Application Form 2019

It is required that all the candidates must fill an application form for the test and then only they will be allowed to appear in the exam. The candidates can check here the procedure for applying for the MP PAT exam:

  • Application forms for MP PAT 2019 will be released online only and candidates have to fill the form through online mode only.
  • Candidates can fill their forms from the 4th week of March 2018 till the 4th week of April 2019.
  • Candidates are expected to fill their forms carefully and all the details entered by them must be true.
  • Candidates need to upload their recent colored photograph, having their thumb impression and signature over it.

Application Fee:

Candidates need to pay an application fee at the time of registration only. This fee as well as the mode of payment are decided by the board.

  • The application fee is Rs. 500 (for general category)
  • The application fee is Rs. 250 (for SC/ST/OBC/PwDcategory).
  • The fee will be paid through online mode (using credit card/debit card) or offline mode (net banking of any bank).

Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for different courses, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria. This criterion is based on their qualification skills. The eligibility criteria for different courses is given below:

B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) Course:

  • Qualifying Exam:Candidates have to pass their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Subject:Candidates have to qualify the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & with English.
  • Appearing Candidates can also apply.

For B.Sc (Agriculture)/ B.Sc (Horticulture) Course:

  • Qualifying Exam:Candidates have to qualify 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Subject:Candidates must pass their qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subjects, i.e. Biology, Forestry, Mathematics or Agriculture.
  • Appearing Candidates can also apply.

B.Sc (Forestry) Course:

  • Qualifying Exam:Candidates have to clear their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Subject:Candidates must qualify their qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subject, i.e. agriculture, mathematics, bio-technology and forestry.
  • Appearing Candidates can also apply.

MP PAT Exam Pattern

This exam is designed in such a way that it follows a particular trend by covering basic questions. This exam is set with a perception to offer seats to meritorious and deserving candidates only. The exam pattern is mentioned here:

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through offline mode that is via pen paper mode.
  • Language: The question paper will be designed in two languages, i.e. in English or Hindi language.
  • Type of Questions: The question paper will be objective type, i.e. the questions will be multiple choice questions.
  • No. of Questions:Total 200 questions will be asked in the examination carrying equal weight age.
  • Duration of Exam:The total time allotted to candidates to complete the exam will be 3 hours.
  • Marking Scheme:For the correct answer, one mark will be given in the examination. But there is no procedure of negative marking for an incorrect answer, multiple marking or no response.

MP PAT Admit Card 2019

Candidates can collect their MP PAT 2019 Admit cards from the third week of April 2019. These admit cards will be available online; therefore, candidates can download their admit cards through online mode from the official website of the university. Candidates need to make sure that the details mentioned in their admit cards are correct and are true up to the best of their knowledge. No student will be allowed to give the exam without a valid admit cards.

MP PAT Syllabus 2019

The syllabus will be prescribed by the MP Vyapam. It covers all the topics & chapters of class 11th& 12th subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology & Agriculture. The detailed syllabuses are given below:

Science (Comprising Physics and Chemistry):

  • Physics: Unit and dimensions, Motion in two dimensions, Work energy and power, Universal law of gravitation, Hooke’s law, Wave nature of light, Periodic motion, The human eye, defects of vision, magnification and resolving power of telescope and microscope, Coulomb’s law of electrostatic, Electric current, Ohm’s law, Kirchhoffs laws, etc.
  • Chemistry: General and Physical Chemistry, Inogranic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry.

Mathematics:

  • Algebra, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry of Two Dimensions, Co-Ordinate Geometry of Three Dimensions, Vector Algebra, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Statistics, Numerical Methods, Linear Programming.

Biology: (Comprising Botany & Zoology)

  • Botany: Structural organization of the cell, Mendel’s Laws of inheritance, Difference between prokaryote and Eukaryotes, Five Kingdom classification Binomial Nomenclature, Tissue and tissue systems, Food preservation-Methods and importance, etc.
  • Zoology: Multicellularity – Structure, and Function Of Animal Life, Developmental Biology And Genetics, Taxonomy Evolution Economic Zoology.

Agriculture (Arts and Science Group) (Ag.):

  • Importance and scope of Agriculture in our National Economy and Development, Meteorology, Soils, Tillage, Manures and Fertilizers, Weeds and Weed Control, Irrigation and Drainage, Cropping Schemes, Crop Production, Cultivation of fruit plants, Cultivation of vegetables, Fruit and vegetable preservation, etc.
