Kerala Polytechnic 2019 Application Form

The candidates have to follow some instruction before applying to Kerala Polytechnic 2019. After reading Information brochure of Kerala Polytechnic 2019, candidates can fill an application form.

  • The application will be accepted through online mode only.
  • Candidates have to fill up single form for the various districts.
  • Separate applications are necessary to be filled in below cases:
  • For regular seats in government/government aided programmers government seats in self-financing programmers special batch of hearing impaired(HI)
  • Management seats under aided programmers to be submitted at respective polytechnics
  • Under NCC quota
  • Under sports quota
  • Candidates have to remember to take print out of filling application for future reference.

Kerala Polytechnic 2019 Application Fee

Fee Details for Kerala Polytechnic 2019 is given below-

  • The application fee is Rs. 100/- per district.
  • For SC/ST candidates, it is Rs, 50/-.
  • If students submit more than one application form for different districts, then they have to pay additional Rs. 100/- for general category and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST category.

Documents to be submitted with application form

After applying online to the Kerala Polytechnic 2019, Candidates have to submit following documents-

  • Self-attested copy of Domicile certificate
  • Self-attested copies of caste certificate
  • Self-attested copy the Income certificate
  • Self-attested copy of medical fitness certificate
  • Self-attested copy of SSLC mark sheet
  • Self-attested copy of HSLC mark sheet

Eligibility Criteria

If following eligibility criteria should match with candidate’s criteria then the only candidate can apply.  Candidate should check eligibility criteria for the application form from given below:

  • Candidates should be the citizen of India.
  • Candidate should have permanent residency of Kerala. OR Candidates should pass the qualifying examination from the education board of Kerala. OR The student’s parent should be a permanent employee in the government in Kerala state.
  • Students must have passed the SSLC/HSLC exam organized by the state board of Kerala or any other equivalent recognized board.
  • Students must qualify the qualifying examination in the subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English.
  • For CBSE or ICSE students, marks secured in Science will be considered for grade calculation in science instead of physics and chemistry.

Kerala Polytechnic Exam Pattern 2019

  • The examination will have two papers. One for Physics and Chemistry together and other for Mathematics. Each examination paper will have 120 questions.
  • For each correct answer, four marks will be awarded and for each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted from their total score. If a candidate doesn’t select any response for a question asked zero marks.
  • The exam will be conducted in pen and paper based mode. Questions will be related to KEAM 2017 syllabus which usually consists of topics taught to students in their Class XI and Class XII.

Kerala Polytechnic 2019 Counseling

The admission to the Kerala state polytechnic institutions will be provided on the basis of merit. Merit will be generated by Kerala Education Board and admission authority. Merit list will be generated on the basis of students’ 10th and 12th board exam. Merit list will be considered at the time allocation of seats to the candidates. The selection will be done on district wise.
