Delhi University, which is public central collegiate university of India, is a dream educational institution for every student. The university shortlists applications for admission to the UG, PG & PhD courses through an entrance exam- Delhi University Entrance Exam. The admissions will be confirmed on the basis on the merit prepared according to the marks scored by the aspirants in the entrance exam. Delhi University admission form 2018 will be issued online only. Scroll down to know more about the significant details related to application form:

  • No applications received through offline mode will be entertained by the university.
  • Fourth week of April 2018 will be the most probable time for release of DU Admission Forms (PG). The UG entrance application forms are expected to be released in May 2018 whereas merit based forms will be out in fourth week of June 2018.
  • Candidates don’t need to fill separate application forms to apply for the multiple courses. Though they will have to deposit application fee for each course they will apply for.
  • Scanned photograph, signature, self attested ID proof, caste certificate & 10th passing certificate need to be uploaded by the candidates according to the defined format while filling the application form.
  • It’s suggested to keep the copy of filled Delhi University application form 2018 for further reference.

Application Fee:

  • Go directly to the official website of Delhi University
  • Now find and click on the admission link
  • Open the application form and fill the asked details correctly
  • The email ID mentioned by you will be used as a registered mail ID throughout the admission process
  • You will receive a confirmation mail after submitting all your details
  • Now you will have to verify your mail by clicking the link received for verification
  • Now you are all set to go; log in using your User Name & Password
  • Now you need to upload your scanned documents {10th class certificate, 12th class mark sheet, passport size photograph, category and other relevant certificate (if applicable), & signature}
  • The fee can be paid through online mode only (debit card/ credit card/ net banking)

For UG Courses:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have qualified senior secondary or equivalent exam from a recognized institution.

Minimum Marks: The minimum marks criteria are influenced by the course nature and the category a candidate belongs to. A general candidate has to secure at least 60% for B.Tech (Information technology & Mathematical Innovation) whereas OBC need 54%, candidates from PwD/ CW category need 54% and SC/ST quota candidates need passing marks to apply for the same course.

For PG Courses:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have qualified their bachelor degree or equivalent exam from a recognized institution.

Minimum Marks: The minimum marks criteria are influenced by the course nature and the category a candidate belongs to. A general candidate has to secure at least 60% for M.Tech (Microwave Electronics).
