TS EAMCET Application Form 2018

Eligibility Criteria:

For Engineering, Bio-Technology, Pharmacy, B.Sc Courses:

  • Nationality:The candidates with Indian nationality, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are eligible to take this exam.
  • Residency: Applicant should be the resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. The Local/Non-Local status must be satisfied by a candidate.
  • Age Restrictions:
    • Engineering & Pharmacy courses ask for an aspirant to be 16 years old at least as on 31st December at the time of admission.
    • There is no capping over upper age limit.
    • In case of special courses like B.Tech (Dairy), B.Tech. (FS & T), B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Sc.(CA & BM) courses, aspirants need to be at least 17 years old as on 31st December. For the same courses, there is the upper age limit i.e. 22.
    • Candidates who belong to SC/ST categories are given the relaxation of 3 years and for them, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
  • Qualification: Applicants should have qualified senior secondary or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Subjects:  Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are mandatory as optional subjects or vocational subjects related to the engineering & Technology
  • Percentage: 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in senior secondary are compulsory.
  • Appearing Candidates:The students appearing in 10+2 are also eligible to apply.
  • Diploma Candidates:Diploma holders can also apply.

For BAMS/BHMS/BNYS Courses:

  • Qualification: Applicants should have qualified senior secondary or equivalent exam. The students appearing in 10+2 are also eligible to apply.
  • Subjects Required:  Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany should be the major subjects at 10+2 level.
  • Age: A candidate should have completed at least 17 years of age as on 31stDecember, 2018.
  • No maximum age limit is defined.

For B.Pharma:

  • Qualification:The candidates must be qualified 12th from AP/Telangana board or from any recognized board.
  • Subjects:Physics, Chemistry and Biology are the main subjects.
  • Percentage:45% marks (40% for reserved category) in senior secondary are compulsory.
  • Age:A candidate should have completed at least 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission.
  • No maximum age limit is defined.

For Pharm.D Course:

  • Age: A candidate should have completed at least 17 years of age by the date of commencement of admission.
  • Qualification:Aspirants must have qualified/is appearing in 12th examination.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and mathematics are the main subjects with Biology as an optional one.
  • Percentage:45% marks (40% for reserved category) in senior secondary are compulsory.

TS EAMCET 2018 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam:It’s only a computer based teste. it can be attempted online only.
  • Total Time of Exam:The duration of this entrance test is 180 minutes (3 hours).
  • Type of Question:  MultipleChoice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme:1 mark will be credited for each correct answer.
  • Number of Questions:There will be total 160 questions in the question paper.
  • Subjects:  Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
